(Updated June 20th 2012) in memory of Joey Urzua. One of the most Beautiful Men I've ever had the privlege to meet!!

Since the original posting of this blog, my sister Donna Kadlec has also passed away from Cancer in September 2011. Her battle was long, and she fought every day with her head high!! Though we lived far from one another, it was nice to be able to see her twice during her last several months. What a joy to share our tears and our hearts... Little things like eating sub sandwiches together, and watching a movie while we sat close!! LOVE YOU ALWAYS MY DEAR SISTER!! xxxooo Love you too Natalie and Hayden!!

Also, Misty and I had a chance to visit briefly with Laura last summer (2011) and her cancer has stayed in remission, which is wonderful news!!

Over the last couple of years Cancer has come to the doorstep of several people God has brought into my life from both near and far... First was the loss of my ex father in law whose name was Ed. Dispite the family issues between my ex wife and I, Ed was an INCREDIBLE man with a soft, tender and dear heart!! He was a GOOD MAN!! Over the latter part of his lifetime my children had the privilege to know and experience his kindness in many ways shapes and forms!! Truly, HE IS missed!! Next was a malignant skin cancer that affected a dear friend of mine whose name is Laura. Laura is a loving mother of five and one of the most incredible, gentle and caring people I've EVER met in my life!! Laura, if you read this sometime, I hope the cancer has not returned; please check in with us sometime and let us know how you are doing. Then, this past spring was my sister Donna who was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, and just recently the cancer has advanced to spine, bone and lung cancer. She quite literally is in the FIGHT of her LIFE, and INDEED SHE IS FIGHTING BACK!! She, her daughter Natalie and grandson live together in Minnesota. Through the years Donna has been a CONSTANT source of Encouragment and LOVE for me!!! "SO MANY" in her circle of influence have felt and experienced the HAND OF GOD reach out to them through HER; she is indeed a PRECIOUS SOUL!! The letter below illustrates just one of the ways Donna has shown her love for "others" over the years... xxxooo I LOVE YOU SIS!! :))

Then, a local family I've become friends with via Twitter and Facebook; Joey the Husband of Susanna and their 2 beautiful children. Joey (please read blog link attached) was diagnosed with brain Cancer and is just recently home from his operation. Susanna originally found me on Twitter and had sent a wonderful email introducing herself on my business account. Over these last couple of months via facebook, Susanna and I have shared family stories, and just two weekends ago she and Joey invited us over to their house for a "Thank you" celebration. The get together was an appreciation event that Joey and Susanna put on for all those who have been praying for Joey and helping the family. My son and I finally got to meet them face to face; in meeting Joey, I was blessed to meet one of the most Humble, Gentle and Kind men I've had the privilege to encounter!! Bless you Joey and Susanna; it is TRULY an honor to know you guys!!

Then one day a couple of weeks ago in the process of day to day operations, I received a couple new friend's requests from my Youtube account. One of these requests was from a beautiful young lady simply named "Miss Chant." In my normal fashion, I scrolled through some of the selected video selections to try and discover a bit more about the people communicating with me... In the process, I discovered some things about Miss. Chant. First of all she is a Cancer survivor too!! Secondly, she has courageously chosen to share her story from her website (see link below)! As you will notice, she has also created a store where items that help increase cancer awareness can be purchased. Thank you again Miss. Chant for your kind words toward my sister Donna; the eloquent cordial manner in which you responded to my emails remains most appreciated!! You are indeed, most KIND!! God Bless you...
